Cryocoolers 13
Cryocoolers 13 archives the latest technical developments in the field of cryocoolers in the 2004 timeframe. Its individual articles represent the contributions of leading international experts at the 13th International Cryocooler Conference held in New Orleans, Louisiana, on March 29 - April 1, 2004. The program of this conference consisted of 123 papers; of these, 88 are published here.
Hosted this year by Alabama Cryogenics, NASA Ames Research Center and Lockheed ATC, the International Cryocoolers Conference has become the preeminent worldwide conference for the presentation of the latest developments and test experiences with cryocoolers. The typical applications of this technology include cooling space and terrestrial infrared focal plane arrays, space x-ray detectors, medical applications, and a growing number of high-temperature superconductor applications.
